Mentorship

Senior Mentorship

The student mentorship program places senior students in a health care or health science related work setting three hours a day, three days a week, for an eight-week period. The mentorship is a collaborative effort in which the student and mentor work toward stated learning goals.

The objective of the mentorship is to provide practical work place learning experiences that reinforce the knowledge and skills learned over the previous four years at AAHS.

Emphasis is placed on the application of the following workplace readiness skills: communication, team work, problem solving, and the integration of academics within the professional environment.
